Accreditation models are among the successful evaluation frameworks in the academic domain that must be developed with consideration for cultural differences among countries and the specific requirements of various disciplines. The purpose of this study is to identify the Iranian-Islamic indices of accreditation in the management discipline. This research was conducted within the interpretivist paradigm using a multiple qualitative methodology. The research setting was library-based, and the strategy involved, in the first stage, thematic analysis of 15 accreditation models in the management discipline with the aim of eliciting accreditation indices for the field of management, and in the second stage, thematic analysis of the Sahifeh-ye Imam (Imam Khomeini’s collected works) to extract university evaluation Indicators from his perspective, followed by a comparative analysis of the findings from the two analyses. From the review of existing management accreditation models, 7 factors, 182 criteria, and 424 indicators were identified; and from the analysis of the Sahifeh-ye Imam, 859 initial codes and 80 basic themes were obtained. After comparative analysis and integration of the two models, ultimately 7 factors, 195 criteria, and 496 indicators were determined as the Iranian-Islamic indices of accreditation in the management discipline. Program accreditation in the field of management using these indices will ensure quality and educate management students based on Iranian-Islamic values. | ||
