چکیده | ||
Abstract Rational elements are not the only factors influencing human decisions. Circumstances, feelings, and beliefs also affect people's decisions. This article aims to design a participatory decision-making framework according to an Islamic approach. We used library resources and interviewed 48 experts to gather data. We also used the Grounded Theory method for analysis. This work has clarified the various dimensions of Islamic participatory decision-making, including effective factors (Consultation, Islamic brotherhood/ sisterhood, beautiful patience, and Self-Knowledge), Contextual variables (Stress-Free Beliefs, Moderation, Divine precepts, DIKW pyramid), deterrent variables (Poor Culture, Arrogant Leadership, Fear of Mistakes, Parochialism), Results (Facilitate Decision Implementation, Provide Employee Growth, Culturalization, and Al-Falah), and Consequences (Deception by Concealment). More importantly, a new meaning of Optimal Distance as - Central dimension - was presented, which includes 12 different types of distance in three axes: distance between the decision-maker and the perspective, between the decision-maker and the Issue, and between participants. Also, three practical criteria for measuring the optimality of distance in each of the axes were presented. This study adds to our knowledge that the main essence of participatory decision-making with the Islamic approach is the decision-making optimal distance, and paying attention to it can be beneficial in many decision-making situations. | ||
